Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Thansur Tatai Eco Resort was a breathtaking escape into nature. the location, nestled between the Tatai river and majestic mountains, felt like a hidden gem not often found in more developed areas. the floating rooms offered a unique and tranquil experience, with the most comfortable bed I've encountered in my Cambodian travels. the peaceful environment and the opportunity to relax on a private deck made for a perfect city break. We were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff, who even waited for us at the Tatai river Bridge late into the night. Bon, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, from recommending delicious house specialties to helping us arrange transportation when we needed it. the resort's eco-friendly approach and range of activities, such as jungle and mangrove tours, kayaking, and sunset watching, truly embraced sustainable tourism. Exploring the surrounding jungle and taking a refreshing dip in the clean river were highlights of our trip. the staff's kindness and willingness to assist made us feel right at home. Although the resort may not be the best fit for families with young children due to the floating nature of the rooms, it is ideal for those seeking tranquillity and a deeper connection with nature. Overall, Thansur Tatai Eco Resort exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and environmental consciousness. I would highly recommend this hidden paradise to anyone looking for a serene and memorable retreat in Cambodia, and I can't wait to return with my fellow documentary filmmaker friends to continue exploring Southeast Asia's wonders.
